What's New: Comcast Boosts Internet Upload Speeds

Comcast is contacting customers in the Chicago area to notify them it has increased the upload speed of residential cable customers. According to Comcast, upload speeds will increase from 384k to 1000k (2.6 times faster) for normal accounts and increase to 2000k for more expensive accounts. Customers should unplug their cable modems for 30 seconds to allow them to re-sync at the higher speed.
