Lavasoft Ad-Aware
ITS recommends installing and reglarly running an anti-pest/anti-spyware program on all computers that have Internet access. One such program is Ad-Aware, by Lavasoft. This program comes in three flavors:
- Ad-Aware 2007 Free
- Ad-Aware 2007 Plus
- Ad-Aware 2007 Professional
Ad-Aware 2007 Free can only be legally used by individuals; businesses, government/educational institutions, and non-profit organizations must purchase a license and renew a maintenance agreement annually.
