To provide the maximum performance and reliability, ITS partners with two subsidiaries of global communications giant Verio to provide international-class, multi-million dollar network operations facilities in several locations throughout the United States and worldwide (take the Premiere Datacenter Tour).

These facilities connect with the world over multiple OC-48, OC-12, and OC-3 data connections, providing both redundancy as well as enormous bandwith (an OC-48 is equivalent to about 1,600 T1 connections). They also feature massive backup power UPS units and multi-megawatt generators, 24x7x365 on-site server monitoring, and security monitoring.

The actual hardware and software differs slightly for the various plans, but general features are:

  • Multiple CPUs
  • RAID hard disk arrays
  • Gigabit Ethernet backbone
  • Automated backup (disk and tape)
  • 24x7x365 on-site staffed server monitoring and support
