Domain Registration

Beginning in early 2000, ITS was able to register domain names directly through our hosting partners with the registrar Melbourne IT, d/b/a Internet Names WorldWide, at a significant discount from Network Solutions' prices.

Registrar Transfer Away Authorization Codes

As of December 1st, 2003, all (.org, .info, .biz, .us) domains that are transferring away from ITS to another Registrar, will require that the customer contact us directly for an authorization code. We as the partner for MIT, will contact MIT on the customer's behalf by the next business day, request the authorization code from MIT, and then relay the information back to the customer, once we have received it from MIT.

All dealers can contact Domain Services directly for this authorization by contacting ITS Technical Support.

**Note: This process may take up to 48 hours, as we wait for MIT to respond to the request. Please be aware of this approximate timeline.
