Rotating Your Web Server Log Files

Note: this page applies to old account types we no longer offer. We have left it up since it may be helpful for someone, since they get a decent amount of search traffic. All current hosting plans with a control panel use Plesk.

Are you interested in rotating and archiving your Virtual Private Server Web Server Log Files? There are several options available:

• savelogs - Rotating Web Server Log Files
• cronolog - Rotating Web Server Log Files

Urchin log files can be manually rotated by connecting to your Virtual Private Server via Telnet or SSH and run the following command:

• % /usr/local/bin/rotate
