Microsoft plans to release Windows 7, the successor to Windows Vista, in time for the 2009 holiday season, according to multiple reports. So far, Microsoft has targeted a "three year" window after the release of Vista, which would be in January 2010. Microsoft this week released early test versions of Windows 7, and plans only one major beta release before a public beta version. Stay tuned to The ITS Connection for more on Windows 7.
