Apple plans to release an update to its new iPhone 3G that will fix "lots of bugs," including a problem with poor reception and dropped calls. The update will be released on Friday, September 12. Apple also says users will see "significantly improved battery life," as well as faster iTunes sync times and fixes for several other bugs.
Users have filed two lawsuits over the poor reception of the iPhone 3G since its launch in July.
