Google launched a new web browser called Chrome today. Under development for two years, Google hopes Chrome will speed the pace of browser innovation. Google hopes Chrome will be more stable, with faster JavaScript execution, to allow more complex web applications.

Our opinion is to wait and see the results of the beta before installing test software on an office PC. Mozilla has already promised a new runtime engine for JavaScript that will make the upcoming Firefox 3.1 significantly faster on complex web sites.
