E-mail Mailing Lists

Note: this page applies to old account types we no longer offer. We have left it up since it may be helpful for someone, since they get a decent amount of search traffic. All current hosting plans with a control panel use Plesk.

We provide several options for E-mail list management on your Virtual Private Server:

• Mailman
• Majordomo
• Dada Mail (formerly Mojo Mail)

Because of the growing spam problem, maintaining your E-Mail lists is very important. It is considered good practice to use double opt-in policies and to remove bounced addresses and the addresses of those who request to be removed from your list immediately. Thes practices are not only good for preventing abuse of your Mailing lists by would-be spammers, but also help prevent costly problems caused by large numbers of bounced messages or frequent abuse complaints.
