The term "webmail" refers to e-mail that is accessible using a standard web browser (e.g. Netscape Navigator or Internet Explorer). This allows customers with domain names to read their e-mail messages by either using popular POP3 e-mail clients (such as Microsoft Outlook or Qualcomm Eudora) or by logging into WebMail for your domain (that is, webmail.your_domain.ext). E-mail messages can also be stored and filed online through the WebMail interface or brought down to the local computer by using an e-mail client application.

WebMail's Interface

The user interface is completely user-friendly with easy-to-use on-line help. Further, the WebMail interface is designed for use by everyone from the e-mail "newbie" to the small business owner. POP3 e-mail users for your domain are able to access and send e-mail messages from any web browser, anywhere in the world. They can also store messages on the mail server instead of always downloading to a local desktop e-mail client.

Main Features

Some of WebMail's main features include:

  • Send e-mail messages to multiple recipients
  • On-line address book
  • Send and receive file attachments
  • Automatically add a personal signature to outgoing e-mail messages
  • Create unique personal e-mail folders to help you archive or categorize your messages
  • Set an autoreply (for vacations, etc.)

WebMail Help and Information

Detailed information and help on how to use WebMail's many features is available online. Users can view the help files from within the WebMail application by clicking the Help link.
