Domain Name Replacement

When hosting accounts are set up at ITS, the domain is associated with a unique IP address (this applies to Personal and higher plan types). We are unable to re-use the current IP address (or change the UserID of an existing account) so it will be necessary for you to place a new order for hosting services using the desired domain name. When submitting the order, be sure to enter the following comment on the order form:

Domain name replacement for <old_domain_name>

Once activated, the user will need to upload their files to the new hosting account. Once the new domain is active and propagation is complete, please contact ITS Technical Support with a deletion request for the original hosting account. There is no refund on the original hosting account unless it falls under the Refund Policy. Please refer to ITS's Refund Policy for information on how monies will be applied, if applicable.
