Comparing Features

When comparing our hosting plans with other services, make sure you compare equivalent plans. While other services have comparable pricing structures, they may not offer as many e-mail accounts, or the same high data transfer and disk space limits as our comparably-priced plan. Some insist on switching your site to a Windows NT server, typically at a higher cost, if you want to provide a secure (encrypted) site or have FrontPage support.

Notes

A T3 line is 30 times faster than a T1 line, and can cost well into five figures per month. An OC-3 line is 100 times faster than a T1 line at 155 million bits per second. An OC-48 line is 1,600 times faster than a T1 line. Many smaller "local" ISPs only have T1 connections to the Internet.
