Unfortunately, yes! The year 2038 is the "end of time" for several file systems. In other words, if you take the biggest signed integer you can get with a 32 bit system (about two billion), and you try to turn that into a date/time, you will get something in March of 2038, which is about two billion seconds after January 1st, 1970, midnight (GMT), which is "zero" time for these operating systems. So in another few decades we could have a similar scare. "Y2K38" anyone?
