Dada Mail is a Web-based Internet E-Mail list administration utility. Dada Mail is a light weight, feature rich mailing list manager. Its main advantage to systems like Majordomo and Mail Man is in its web-based control panel. Anything that has to be done with a mailing list can be handled from your browser. No weird commands to remember, no typing into a terminal shell. This makes Dada Mail extremely friendly and intuitive.

NOTE: Dada Mail is the new name for what used to be known as Mojomail. If you want more information about the name change, see the Official Press Release.

To install Dada Mail, connect to your Virtual Private Server via SSH, su to root, and do the following:

# vinstall dada

During the installation, you will be prompted to enter an administrator password, which you will use when accessing the administration utility. You will also be prompted to enter the domain name you want to use for the mailing lists.

The list administration utility can be accessed by going to the following URL:

When you log in to the administration utility for the first time, you will be prompted to create a new mailing list. After you have created a list, accessing the administration utility will allow people to add themselves to one of the lists, or you can select Administration to manage lists and users, or to change the administrator password.

NOTE: Dada Mail currently only supports lists for a single domain on a server.
