This month the Business Software Alliance raised their reward to $1 million for turning in a company that is pirating software. There are conditions...for a reward that big, the offender must settle for at least $10 million (most companies settle out of court to avoid criminal prosecution).

If your "pirate" is a little smaller, consider this: you can earn $5,000 for a settlement worth only $15,000.
