A new survey by IT research firms Nucleus Research and KnowledgeStorm puts the annual cost of spam at $712 per employee per year. The survey found that two-thirds of e-mail received at work is spam, even though 60% of businesses filter spam. The survey assumes a $30-per-hour pay rate.
