CompUSA plans to wind down retail operations and close stores after a heavily discounted holiday season. Investment firm Gordon Brothers Group has acquired the struggling company and plans to sell stores in key areas as well as other assets such as their web site and CompUSA TechPro, the firm's tech support service.
