Tek9 Pro is a third party shopping cart program which may be added to any Windows 2000 or Windows Server 2003 shared server account. The company that manufactures it is Line9.

ITS does support the shopping cart module on our servers, with add-on permissions, but does not provide support tutorials nor technical support for the Tek9 Pro product or any of Line 9's software packages. Live support or tutorials and additional information on Line9's products must be obtained directly from Line9.

What does Tek9 Pro cost and How do I buy it?

The cost of Tek9 Pro is $695.00 retail. You will need to go directly to Line9 to purchase it.

How do I install Tek9 Pro on ITS's servers?

To be installed on our servers, permissions must be added to the server on which your account resides.

To have "Line9" permissions added to an account, please contact ITS Technical Support for assistance, before installing Tek9 Pro.

Are there any differences between using Tek9 Pro on a Windows 2000 account versus a Windows 2003 account?

Yes. Windows 2000 accounts support the ASPmail function while Windows Server 2003 accounts must use CDO or .NETmail. These alternate email choices (CDO or .NETmail) will make the program search for the mail component.
