Usage Statistics Software

Why track usage statistics on your site?  Because that's how you can tell the important things, such as: how many people are viewing your site ("hits") when they are viewing it what pages are accessed what domains are referring to your site trends over time errors browsers used

These statistics and more are useful in tracking advertising response, and planning your site. We give you a choice of using Urchin 5.x, or other statistics software. In addition, we give you direct access to your raw log files so you can analyze your statistics with other more full-featured programs.

As it provides you with the most detailed statistical summaries and because it is the most adept at handling large amounts of data, we recommend that you use Urchin as your statistics package. Analog and MKStats provide similar reports but in different formats. Analog only analyzes the past 90 days of activity, so if you desire a longer activity history use one of the other packages.
