Mozilla Firefox 3.0

Installation instructions:

1. Download the Firefox setup program using the above button.
2. Open the setup program you downloaded to start the installation if it does not start automatically.
3. If desired you can make ITS StartCenter your home page.

Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0

Note: According to Intuit, QuickBooks 2005 and earlier are not compatible with Internet Explorer 7. An update is necessary for use with QuickBooks 2006 and 2005.

You can download Internet Explorer 7 directly from our web site. Internet Explorer 7 is not compatible with Windows 98, Me, and 2000 computers. The Internet Explorer 7 installer will keep your current favorites, however, your home page may be reset, so make a note of it before upgrading.

1. Download the appropriate installation program for your operating system. Be sure to choose "open" or "run" or "run from current location" if prompted.
• Windows XP SP2 (15.8 MB)
• Windows Vista (settings updater; 1.7 MB)
• Windows Server 2003 SP1 (15.8 MB)
• All 64-bit versions of Windows (XP, 2003, Vista; 29.5 MB)
2. Setup will ask you some questions about the setup, and may download additional installation files from Microsoft (this part may take a while if their download sites are busy).
3. The installer will require you to restart your computer.
4. When you first run Internet Explorer it will prompt you to activate an "advanced Phishing Filter." ITS recommends you do so.
5. Run Windows Update on your Start Menu to download the latest security updates for Internet Explorer.
